Overview
At the edge of East Sahara, the cool oases of South Tunisia with the palm trees shading the castles and the Berbers' trails on the sand provoke the travellers to follow this route. A trip by jeeps that runs through the oases with the help of a local guide and reveals the authentic face of the country. If you are fond of adventure, don't miss it!
Requirements

Day 1: Athens - Tunis Flight to Tunis and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Tunis - Tozeur Getting on the jeeps we set off for the tour of the oases. Our first stop is at the beautiful village of Sidi Busaid and then we visit Kairouan with the beautiful mosque and the perfectly roun water tanks. In the afternoon we reach Tozeur and we visit the Folcoric museum of the city. In the evening optional performance of the "1000 and 1 nights".
Day 3: Tozeur - Douz Visit to the Nefta oasis with the 400,000 palm trees and its zoo. Through the oases of Tsebika and Tamerza Maids we reach the central square of Kebili. We reach Douz after crossing the drained lake Tsot El Djerid.
Day 4: Douz - Kshar Ghilain (Sahara) Today, we travel 90 km in the Sahara, via Medenain and Tatauin to Kshar Ghilain. Overnight in organised camping.
Day 5: Kshar Ghilain - Tunis Morning drive to the cave dewllers' caves in Matmata, where most of the scenes of "Star Wars" were filmed. We visit the Roman auditorium in El Djem and via the coastal oasis of Gabes we reach Tunis. Visit to 'medina', the part of the old town with the crowdy bazaars and the souqs.
Day 6: Tunis - Athens Transfer to the airport to catch our flight back to Athens.
