Overview
The 'torii' ,are symbols of the country as well as the characteristic features of the Shinto religion, which should be seen more as a moral code than a religion. The 'dragon', apart from being the luckiest sign, is considered to be the water deity and the main symbol of the Japanese mythology. The 'geishas', who learn from the early age of ten how to please men at the 'tea houses', represent the ideal type of educated women with graceful manners and irresistible charm. Japan is a 'work-aholic' country that managed to financially rule the world. However, massive production and extreme consumerism haven't managed to eliminate the beautiful Japanese tradition yet. You will be impressed by the beauty of the countryside as well as by the super modern cities. The Japanese will surprise you with their love for order and discipline. A country worth visiting!
